# Ethereum Chain

SeaCrypt uses <mark style="color:blue;">**Ethereum**</mark> for the genesis fish collections. Fishes minted during Beta launch in <mark style="color:blue;">**Polygon network**</mark> have been migrated to Ethereum.\

SeaCrypt may not just stay on one single chain. When breeding feature is open, it will bring <mark style="color:blue;">**high transaction volume**</mark> into SeaCrypt ecosystem. To support the transaction volume, <mark style="color:blue;">**a**</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">**low gas fees environment**</mark> is needed. We will explore the best suited chain for this purpose.
